How it looks in practice

Every machine reports engine hours accurately, so rental invoices match reality. Fuel level is monitored continuously and any drop outside normal usage triggers an alert with the exact time and site. Service schedules are set per machine by engine hours; the fleet manager, mechanic and site supervisor all get reminders before a machine is due.

For rental operators, the machine-hour billing report ends the disputes with clients over usage.

Typical outcome

Fuel theft goes to zero within a month. Machine-hour billing becomes accurate and defensible. Unplanned breakdowns drop as service moves from reactive to scheduled.
