The problem

Local taxi operators face a squeeze: passengers switch to global ride-hailing apps because the experience is better, drivers switch because the payout is faster, and the operator ends up with the worst of both worlds — cars, drivers, licences, but no direct channel to the customer.

The dispatchers in most local fleets still work by radio and phone book. Passenger complaints come through Facebook. Meters are hand-set. Cash reconciliation happens on paper at end of shift. Every step is an opportunity for revenue leakage or a bad review.

What Netlynk provides

  • Dispatch engine that assigns the nearest driver to each ride with live ETA
  • Passenger app (iOS + Android) with request, live map, fare estimate
  • Driver app with accept/reject, navigation handoff to Google or Waze, availability status
  • Fare calculator: base + per km + per minute, with night and surge tariffs
  • Payment gateway: Stripe, local card processors, cash reconciliation
  • Two-way rating and review system
  • Operator console: dispatch override, live fleet view, complaint handling
  • SMS and push notifications ("driver arriving in 2 min")
  • Regulatory-ready: certified taximeter support, receipt printing

How it looks in practice

The passenger opens your branded app, requests a ride, sees the driver on the map. The driver's app pings them, gives them the pickup point, and hands off to Google Maps for navigation. The fare is calculated by the meter and paid in-app or in cash, both tracked. The operator watches every car live from the console and only steps in when something needs manual override.

For the operator, this is the difference between running a taxi company and running a modern mobility business.

Typical outcome

Passengers stop switching to Bolt because your service matches theirs. Drivers stay because payouts are transparent. Revenue leakage from off-meter rides is measurable and closable.
