The problem
Public transport operators live and die by contract compliance. On-time performance is a KPI, and it's either measurable or it's not. School bus operators face an even sharper question every morning: is my child safe on the bus?
Without live route monitoring and a parent-facing app, both promises are unenforceable.
What Netlynk provides
- Passenger counting sensor integration
- Route adherence and schedule compliance monitoring
- Parent app: "my child boarded the bus", "bus is 5 min from stop"
- Announcement systems and next-stop display integration
- Ticketing system integration
- On-time performance reports for municipal audit
How it looks in practice
Every bus route is a geofenced corridor with checkpoints. Deviation triggers an alert; late departures show up on the operator dashboard immediately. Parents get an app that shows the bus approaching their child's stop in real time, and receives a push when the child boards or disembarks (via RFID or driver confirmation).
Municipal audits become a report export, not a paper chase.
